This print production book is designed as a comprehensive guide that introduces readers to the fundamentals of print production through a cohesive visual and conceptual approach. The project is built around the theme of ambivalence. Two contrasting yet coexisting feelings expressed through the concept of “solitary relief.” This idea informed both the content and design, balancing moments of isolation with a sense of calm and resolution throughout the book’s structure and pacing
A focused visual decision within the project is the use of orange and blue as complementary colors. Their contrast reinforces the theme of duality, while their balance creates visual harmony. Supporting imagery further develops this concept, combining elements that evoke solitude with those that suggest ease and release, allowing both emotions to exist simultaneously and enhancing the overall tone of the book.
